Active Safety packageThe Active Safety Package[7] includes 4 assistance systems which can relieve the strain on you and make driving safer. These are Active Brake Assist, Blind Spot Assist, Active Lane Keeping Assist and Speed Limit Assist, as well as Traffic Sign Assist in conjunction with the Navigation package.
Active Brake AssistActive Brake Assist[7] can help you to avoid accidents, for example with vehicles in front and with crossing vehicles and also pedestrians, or to minimise the consequences of such accidents. This can increase both your own safety and that of other road users.
Blind Spot AssistWith Blind Spot Assist,[7] you'll enjoy safer driving, especially when changing lanes. It uses radar technology to monitor the area which is not covered by your outside mirrors. By means of visual and audible warnings, it can warn you of a potential side impact with other road users.
Active Lane Keeping AssistLane Keeping Assist[7] can help prevent accidents due to unintentionally leaving the lane the vehicle is travelling in. If the system detects that the vehicle has drifted out of its lane unintentionally, it warns the driver by means of a pulsating vibration of the steering wheel. This prompts the driver to return to the correct lane.
Speed Limit AssistSpeed Limit Assist[7] makes it easier for you to comply with speed limits. Wherever possible, the system shows what is permitted: it uses the camera to detect the current speed limit and displays it in the instrument cluster.
Traffic Sign AssistTraffic Sign Assist[7] makes it easier for you to observe speed limits and other signposted instructions. This increases safety.

Highbeam AssistHighbeam Assist[7] automatically switches the main beam on and off according to the traffic situation and thereby relieves the driver of having to manually switch back and forth between the main beam and the dipped beam. The system is controlled by a camera behind the windscreen that permanently records the traffic situation in front of the vehicle.

Crosswind AssistCrosswind Assist[7] can detect track offset caused by strong crosswind gusts in good time and help the driver to stay in lane. A sudden track offset of the vehicle can cause inappropriate steering reactions on the part of the driver.
ATTENTION ASSISTATTENTION ASSIST[7] can warn the driver of fatigue and microsleep in due time. The system can contribute to road safety, especially on night-time drives and long routes. ATTENTION ASSIST is displayed in the instrument cluster between rev counter and speedometer.
Hill Start AssistHill Start Assist[7] can make hill starts easier by temporarily preventing the vehicle from rolling backwards.
Anti-theft alarm systemThe anti-theft alarm system (ATA) offers high anti-theft protection for vehicle and cargo. The anti-theft alarm system is armed automatically when the central locking is activated remotely. Once activated, the alarm will sound as soon as one of the doors is either opened or unlocked from the inside. Optional equipment.
Tyre pressure loss warning system front and rear, wirelessThe tyre pressure loss warning system in your vehicle can help increase driving safety and reduce tyre wear and fuel consumption.
Mercedes-Benz emergency call systemThe Mercedes-Benz emergency call system can ensure crucial time savings in an emergency. Using a communication module with its own SIM card, an automatic emergency call is initiated following an accident, thereby potentially reducing the time before the emergency services arrive at the scene. Alternatively, an emergency call can be triggered manually to organise assistance.

7 airbagsThe eCitan Tourer has seven airbags as standard: front airbags for the driver and front passenger, thorax side bags, centre airbag and window bags.
KEYLESS-GOThanks to KEYLESS-GO, your vehicle key can stay in your pocket. Your vehicle recognises you as the owner using the stored access and drive authorisation and unlocks it as you approach or when you press the button on the door handle – without the need to have the key in your hand.

Hot-air duct to the passenger compartmentThe hot-air duct ensures that the passenger compartment can be brought quickly and comfortably up to the right temperature. The pipe runs underneath the front seats to the rear and channels the temperature-controlled air past the driver's/front passenger's seat into the passenger compartment.
Seat Comfort PackageWith this package, you and your passengers will enjoy an especially comfortable ride. The package comprises a host of equipment items, including seat heating and seat height adjustment for the driver and front passenger, as well as lumbar support for the driver's seat.

Cruise controlCruise control[7] can relieve the strain on you by maintaining a pre-selected speed for your vehicle without the need for you to operate the accelerator pedal. Driving at a constant speed facilitates economical driving and can help you to save fuel.
Steering wheel heaterPleasant warmth all the way to the fingertips – a boon especially on cold days. The direct contact warms up the hands particularly quickly, which can increase comfort and safety when steering. In addition, spot heating can have a positive effect on the range compared with heating the air.
